The power of service

The power of service

Maintenance is about much more than using the right techniques, processes, products or devices. It is still about people working with people. We highlight three exhibitors who have understood this well.

At a fair like Maintenance, you get a true cross-section of the entire industry together every time. They make useful contacts there, enrich their knowledge (and their contact book) and discover use cases for their offerings that they might not have thought of themselves.

For Framaz, Solana and Bio-Circle, Maintenance 2025 was just that: an opportunity to show what stainless steel they are made of and the added value they offer their customers every day. We are therefore happy to put them in the spotlight.

Bio-Circle: does what needs to be done (for those who don’t know what to do)

The Denderleeuw-based company specialises in fluids to clean installations, genre glue installations, oil cooling,… They are ready with advice and assistance for those who have installations, but no manual. All too often Bio-Circle finds that the systems they purchase are delivered with descaler, plain and simple.

To address this need, they developed cleaning liquids and, a little later, the devices to use them with. These machines are often mobile and are used by Bio-Circle teams themselves or by the customer who purchases them. Customisation is no stranger to them: they look at what installations there are, how the links are connected and then decide which process is the most appropriate. In doing so, they always avoid having to shut down a production line.

Solana: top in technical textiles

This Schoten-based company can already blow out 75 candles this year. They specialise in technical textiles such as filters, filter and spin cloths, and filter connections for older machines that no longer exist and for which the old filters are out of circulation. This is often custom-made and is still done entirely in Belgium. This allows them to respond quickly to urgent requests and ensures the quality of the manufacturing process. All major laundries in the country are already fans (and customers).

In addition, Solana is also a fan of Maintenance, where they have already met many useful contacts in recent years. An interaction between exhibitors and visitors: that’s what we stand for.

Framaz: light work in good conditions

Besides being an importer of various LED-based applications, Framaz is also a service provider. They carry out lighting studies for warehouses, business parks and production facilities and link the right lighting options to them.

LED is quietly entering its wonder years: lifetime has improved significantly in recent years and prices have come down to the level of fluorescent lamps – until recently a stumbling block for many organisations. Moreover, LED offers more possibilities on the floor: they are dimmable, easier to operate and they can delimit their area to be illuminated much better. This is not only an advantage for the employee who needs to be able to do his or her job optimally, but also towards regulations for neighbourhoods and natural areas.

With standards becoming stricter, it is always helpful to know an agile, local and flexible partner who can help you meet challenges.
