Georgin’s galvanically isolated interface is an intrinsically safe device that can be installed in a safe area or Zone 2 in an IP 54 enclosure thanks to its Ex nA protection mode. It limits the energy that may appear in an electrical circuit running in a hazardous area, regardless of the upstream connection.
In addition to its energy limitation function, it facilitates the use of signals in a safe area (e.g., relays), converts signals (e.g., 4/20 mA to 0-10 V), or duplicates a signal.
Other functions are also available, such as a threshold relay or an intrinsically safe power supply.
