PipeTech Academy & Alliance was founded in 2008 by innovative companies from the Contracting & Maintenance sector, the career funds in the metal sector mtech+ together with VDAB (Flemish Service for Employment and Vocational Training).
With the aim of informing employees, job seekers, employers in co-creation about the developments in the field of pipefitting, assembly of industrial installations, to support and to offer the necessary training courses so that everyone’s talent can be developed.
Since 2011, the “Alliance” was founded within PipeTech Academy to jointly invest in talent development among students from the for the third grade in secondary education. Uniformly implement up-to-date information at the participating schools and thus introduce students to the profession of pipefitter and realize a growth path in secondary education.
