The Ion Science Titan 2 is a stationary gas monitor for the detection of benzene.
This instrument is capable of accurately detecting benzene from 0.02 ppm (20 ppb) to 20 ppm with a sampling rate of 60 seconds. The Titan can be used to protect personnel from exposure to benzene and also to measure benzene concentration in process applications.
The Titan 2 is equipped with the new MiniPID T2 10.0 eV lamp with improved sensitivity, reliability and performance. This sensor is equipped with the patented Fence Electrode technology, making the instrument virtually insensitive to dirt and moisture. The unique sampling method eliminates interfering elements such as toluene, xylene and methane. The Titan 2 is ATEX certified and equipped with a housing with protection class IP65. This allows the instrument to be used in dusty and humid areas.
The Titan 2 is equipped with a display, on which the currently measured benzene concentration is clearly shown. In addition, the device is equipped with 4 – 20 mA and RS485 communication and also 2 relay outputs.
