This device is the smallest and lightest personal PID gas monitor with an 11.7 eV UV lamp. Due to the high energy level of the lamp, the device is able to detect gases that cannot be detected with a standard 10.6 eV lamp, such as acetylene, methanol, chloroform and formaldehyde. The Cub 11.7 eV provides an early warning of the presence of harmful gases, including benzene, before a dangerous concentration is reached.
The Cub 11.7 eV offers a measuring range of 0.5 to 5,000 ppm. The current measured concentration is shown on the large display with backlight. The measured values can be logged at an adjustable interval. If the measured concentration exceeds a preset limit value, the user is warned with visual signals (bright LEDs), a loud acoustic signal and vibration signals. The device is equipped with a rechargeable battery with a very long life of 16 hours and contains an internal memory for logging 30,000 measurements.
